Shaun White Selling Medal-worthy Compound in Malibu for $27.25M

Olympic snowboarder Shaun White is ready for gold, in real estate of course. The 32-year-old has listed his Malibu, CA compound for a whopping $27.25 million, Variety reports.

The compound includes two properties: The three-bedroom, four-bathroom ranch home, which White bought in 2013 for $8.94 million, and the three-bedroom, two-bathroom home next door. His ranch property, is valued at $14.5 million which he picked up in 2016 for $10.75 million, and the other house on the property is priced at $12.75 million.

Malibu home prices have continued to skyrocket, and while these two properties aren’t near the peak in the local market they are in the celeb enclave of Point Dume, just 30 minutes from L.A.

The ranch home was built on a bluff in 1952, and offers ocean views and private access to Westward Beach. Inside, you’ll find high ceilings and hardwood floors throughout. The large foyer flows into a formal living room with a fireplace and walls of glass. The chef’s kitchen opens to a dining area, also with a fireplace. The main suite encompasses a luxe bath and walk-in closet, with a private patio and ocean vistas. The home also includes two family rooms, one with a wet bar, and an office or bonus room.

Outside, the manicured grounds include a Zen-style fountain, a wraparound deck, multiple sitting and dining areas, and a hot tub. There’s also a one-car garage and “ample” guest parking.

The house next door sits on just over an acre and comes with 2,164 square feet of living space. It’s been “impeccably remodeled” with an open floor plan. The great room includes living and dining areas and opens to a balcony overlooking the ocean. The chef’s kitchen comes with a U-shaped seating area with ocean views. Each of the bedrooms feature high ceilings and views. On the lower level is a large family room, which also doubles as a media room and guest space. French doors open to a covered balcony, barbecue area, pool, and grassy lawn. The home comes with a two-car garage with a Tesla plug-in as well as guest parking.
